Rachelle Lefevre is sinking her teeth into a full-time TV gig.

John Wells, who brought us such shows as “The West Wing” and “ER,” has cast Lefevre in a new untitled medical drama for CBS about doctors and medical technicians who take their services on the road in the U.S. to help those in need.

Lefevre will play “Katy,” EW.com reports, an intelligent gung-ho doctor who prefers being on the road than in an office. The show also stars Amy Smart.
